The company announced that the Pixel 11 series will be introduced at a special event in New York on August 12, with pre-orders commencing the same day.
A short teaser video has been released on Google’s online store homepage, showcasing the new Pixel Glow feature for the first time. Reports suggest Pixel Glow is a circular LED light capable of illuminating in various colors, primarily aimed at making notifications more prominent. Users might also be able to select different colors for different apps, though Google has not yet released complete details.
This marks the first official confirmation of the Pixel 11 name by Google, as the company had not previously disclosed it publicly.
According to Google, pre-order bookings for the Pixel 11 series will start immediately after the launch event on August 12. A special offer for U.S. customers has been introduced. Users who register their email on the Google Store before 11:59 PM Pacific Time on August 7 will receive a special promo code on August 12, allowing them to avail discounts or offers on Pixel 11 devices until August 27.
