Young doctors in Balochistan end protest

QUETTA (Lord Media): The Young Doctors Association Balochistan has announced the resumption of outpatient department (OPD) services from today, following a temporary suspension of their protest. The association’s spokesperson stated that the decision was made at the request of the commissioner and deputy commissioner, and medical services have been restored in all government hospitals across Balochistan.

The spokesperson mentioned that the protest was postponed temporarily in the public interest and due to the law and order situation, but their demands remain unchanged. If these demands are not met, the protest may resume.

The Quetta commissioner assured that effective mediation efforts will be made between the government and doctors to resolve the issues.

It is noteworthy that the Young Doctors Association had been boycotting services in the province’s government hospitals for the past 39 days.
