ISLAMABAD (Lord Media): PTI’s call for a protest outside the Islamabad High Court failed as only six members of the assembly attended. The party had instructed all parliamentarians to gather at the court by 10 AM, but only Ali Muhammad Khan, Senator Mishal Khan Yousafzai, Senator Falak Naz Chitrali, Shafqat Awan, and Junaid Akbar were present.
Salman Akram Raja was briefly present outside the court but soon departed. Police personnel and prisoner vans were stationed outside the court.
Following the protest’s failure, Salman Akram Raja criticized the assembly members, stating that despite repeated requests to gather outside the court, most members were absent. He added that he would reveal the names of those absent.
