BEIRUT (Lord Media): Hezbollah has called on the Lebanese government to immediately suspend negotiations with Israel following the release of new maps by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The maps reportedly depict large areas of southern Lebanon as Israeli territory, revealing Israel’s ambitions over Lebanese land and resources.
Hezbollah urged the government to cease direct talks with Israel, accusing it of using the negotiation process to buy time and strengthen its presence on Lebanese soil.
The maps were released on the Arabic account of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the U.S. social media platform X, showing significant portions of southern Lebanon as part of Israel. Hezbollah stated that this map undermines the negotiation process.
The organization also demanded that the Lebanese government file an immediate complaint with the United Nations Security Council.
