KARACHI (Lord Media): Pakistan showcased exceptional performance at the 21st World Youth Scrabble Championship, clinching the global team title for the seventh time. Pakistani players dominated the championship by winning the most trophies, asserting their superiority on the international stage.
In the team event, Pakistan secured the first position, while Dineth Fernando from Australia emerged as the individual world champion. In individual contests, three Pakistani players succeeded in making it to the top 10.
Ahmad Salman of Pakistan won the Under-16 category, and Ahad Saulat Fatimi clinched the Under-14 championship. In the Under-12 category, Mustafa Farhan from Pakistan secured the second position.
The youngest player from the Pakistani team, Taimoor Wasim, claimed the world title in the Under-10 category. Taimoor Wasim also won the Under-8 world title last year. The 21st World Youth Scrabble Championship saw participation from 183 players representing 11 countries.
