ISLAMABAD (Lord Media): The number of registered 5G mobile phones in Pakistan has reached 3.81 million, according to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA). During April, 162,040 5G mobile phones were locally manufactured, and by May, this figure had risen to 961,326.
Documents indicate that local production will allow consumers to access 5G smartphones at relatively lower prices. Various companies are producing 5G phones locally. To use 5G services, consumers will need compatible handsets, and some 5G devices may require a software update to activate the service.
