World (Lord Media): A rare astronomical event is set to occur globally today, where 99% of the Earth’s population will simultaneously experience sunlight. According to a report, on July 8, approximately 8.2 billion people will be in daylight or twilight for about one minute.
This phenomenon is made possible due to the Earth’s tilt and the summer timing in the Northern Hemisphere. During this period, most parts of North America, South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia will be in daylight, while regions like Australia, New Zealand, and parts of Southeast Asia will remain in night.
Such conditions typically arise annually between May 18 and July 17.
