51st International Nathia Gali Summer College begins in Pakistan

Islamabad (Lord Media): The 51st International Nathia Gali Summer College, organized by the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission, has officially commenced. Renowned scientists from 20 countries across five continents have arrived in Pakistan to participate in this significant scientific event. The summer college will feature discussions by 45 globally acclaimed scientists on advanced scientific topics.

The tradition of global scientific exchange, initiated by Professor Abdus Salam, has continued for five decades, reflecting international scientific trust in Pakistan through the active participation of international experts.

Chairman PAEC, Dr. Raja Ali Raza Anwar, stated that Professor Abdus Salam’s vision continues to guide scientists, emphasizing that science and technology are fundamental to national development.

He highlighted that artificial intelligence and quantum technology are reshaping the future, and Pakistan needs to increase investment in scientific research. Young scientists are the bright future of Pakistan.

Furthermore, the PAEC Chairman mentioned that six nuclear power plants are providing clean energy to the national grid, and PAEC’s 21 cancer centers are offering treatment facilities to 80% of patients. Agricultural research is addressing food security and climate challenges.
