The Zimbabwe Women’s Cricket Team will arrive in Pakistan on April 29 for their maiden tour, marking a significant step in the expansion of women’s international cricket ties.
The visiting side will face the Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team in a six-match series comprising three One Day Internationals and three T20 Internationals. All matches will be played at the National Bank Stadium.
The ODI series, scheduled for May 3, 6 and 9, will be part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2025–2029. All matches will begin at 3:30pm.
The T20I series will follow on May 12, 14 and 15, with matches set to start at 7:30pm.
The series is being viewed as crucial preparation ahead of the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, scheduled to be held in England and Wales from June 12 to July 5.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s women’s team will also participate in a tri-nation series in Ireland prior to the World Cup, providing further opportunity to fine-tune preparations for the global event.
