Pakistan national cricket team have dropped to seventh place in the ICC World Test Championship standings after suffering defeat against Bangladesh national cricket team in the opening Test match.
Following the victory, Bangladesh moved up to sixth position with 44.44 percentage points, overtaking Pakistan, who slipped to seventh place with 33.33 percentage points.
According to the updated World Test Championship table, Australia national cricket team remain at the top with 87.50 percentage points. New Zealand national cricket team are second with 77.78 percent, while South Africa national cricket team hold third position with 75 percent.
Sri Lanka national cricket team occupy fourth place with 66.67 percent, while India national cricket team are fifth with 48.15 percent.
Bangladesh’s latest win has further strengthened their position in the championship race, while Pakistan now face added pressure in their remaining fixtures to improve their standing in the competition.
