Emon says PSL exposure to benefit Bangladesh players

Bangladesh cricketer Parvez Hossain Emon has said that participation in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will greatly benefit players from Bangladesh, as they gain valuable exposure and experience.

Speaking to a private TV in Lahore, Emon said he is playing in the PSL for the first time and has found the experience highly encouraging so far.

“I am very excited to represent Lahore Qalandars, a champion side, and I am enjoying every moment with the team,” he said.

He noted that the standard of fast bowling in the PSL is exceptionally high, adding that the only thing he misses is the presence of crowds in the stadiums.

Emon highlighted the opportunity to face top pacers like Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf in the nets, terming it a valuable learning experience for his career.

“Playing against such quality fast bowlers will benefit me in the long run,” he said.

The batter added that he is currently focusing on improving his skills and aims to perform according to the team’s requirements.

Emon, who is currently batting at number four, said he expects to continue in the same role during the tournament.

It is worth mentioning that six Bangladeshi cricketers are featuring in the PSL this season, providing them with a platform to enhance their game at the international level.
