According to Indian media, the young woman, who gained widespread attention on social media during the religious gathering in Prayagraj, made the allegations during a press conference, claiming that both she and her husband Mohammad Farman Khan are receiving threats.
Monalisa stated that she had faced inappropriate behaviour and harassment, urging authorities to take notice of the matter.
Earlier, she had made headlines after marrying her boyfriend Mohammad Farman despite facing opposition.
