Veteran Pakistani film, television and stage actor Asim Bukhari passed away after a prolonged illness, family sources confirmed on Thursday. He was 76.
According to sources, the senior actor had been suffering from kidney and heart ailments for quite some time and had been under treatment at a hospital for the past two weeks.
His condition worsened late on Wednesday night and he slipped into a coma before passing away.
During his long artistic career, Asim Bukhari performed in numerous television dramas, stage productions and films, earning recognition for his versatile acting.
