Rain expected in parts of Punjab, KP, Kashmir

Lahore (Lord Media): Rain is expected in parts of northeastern Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir today, according to the Meteorological Department. Meanwhile, Karachi experienced a cloudy morning, while other regions of the country are expected to remain hot and humid.

On Friday, the highest temperature in the country was recorded in Nokundi at 45 degrees Celsius. Dalbandin, Jacobabad, and Dadu saw temperatures of 44 degrees Celsius, Sukkur recorded 43, and Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Sargodha, and Chilas experienced 41 degrees Celsius. In Muzaffarabad, the temperature reached 39 degrees Celsius, while Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta, and Gilgit recorded 38 degrees Celsius.
