Experts advise short breaks for better health

Islamabad (Lord Media): In modern lifestyles, most people spend their time sitting in offices, cars, or at home, leading to stiff hips, slouched shoulders, and body tension. Experts suggest that light physical activity every 30 minutes yields positive results.

According to research published in the MDPI journal ‘Healthcare’, short exercise breaks improve blood circulation, benefit heart health, and enhance focus and memory. Experts have proposed a three-minute mobility reset consisting of four short steps.

Adopting this reset every 30 minutes can help mitigate the negative effects of prolonged sitting.
