Karachi (Lord Media): The number of gastroenteritis and diarrhea patients in Karachi has surged. According to Dr. Imran Sarwar, over 200 patients with stomach ailments and diarrhea are being reported daily at the emergency department of Civil Hospital. Jinnah Hospital is also witnessing more than 150 cases of gastroenteritis and diarrhea.
Medical experts have reported that citizens are visiting hospitals with complaints of stomach pain, vomiting, nausea, and loose motions. They have warned that improperly cooked meat stored in freezers can lead to stomach issues.
Experts have advised residents to avoid substandard and contaminated food, consume fresh and clean meals, cover food properly, and store it at appropriate temperatures in refrigerators.
