The Maryam Nawaz has inaugurated a new mobile application aimed at facilitating citizens in reporting lost documents and accessing police services digitally.
According to details, the Punjab Police mobile app will allow citizens to register complaints regarding missing identity cards, passports, driving licences and other important documents without visiting police stations or service centres.
Officials said that after filing a loss report through the app, an FIR can also be issued and delivered to citizens at their homes, significantly reducing delays and administrative hurdles.
The chief minister expressed satisfaction over the launch of the initiative, stating that modernising governance and moving Punjab towards digital solutions remains a key priority of her government.
She added that the introduction of the app would save both time and resources for citizens while improving efficiency in public service delivery.
