Humayun Saeed has revealed that his wife initially did not support his decision to pursue acting and even discouraged him from entering the entertainment industry.
In a recent interview, the actor shared insights about his career journey, saying that his wife Samina Humayun Saeed was not comfortable with his acting ambitions in the early days and would often urge him to consider business or other professions instead.
He said she also used to object to him holding actresses’ hands in scenes and would accompany him on sets due to her concerns.
Humayun Saeed noted that he has worked with several accomplished actresses and industry professionals, adding that after meeting colleagues, including Marina Khan and other directors, his wife’s perception gradually changed.
He explained that she came to understand that the industry is not as it may appear from the outside and that many good and professional people work within it.
