Pakistan’s senior tennis players Rashid Malik and Khurram Imtiaz clinched singles titles at the ITF World Masters Tour MT200 in Khao Lak, Thailand, underscoring their continued strength on the international circuit.
The tournament was hosted at the Robinson Hotel courts and featured seasoned competitors from several countries.
In the Men’s Singles 60+ final, Rashid Malik overpowered Switzerland’s Hannes Aeberhard with a decisive 6-1, 6-1 win. Officials called Malik’s performance one of the tournament’s most dominant displays.
In the Men’s Singles 55+ final, Khurram Imtiaz secured the title after Switzerland’s Oliver Marjanovic withdrew due to illness. This marks Khurram’s second ITF championship in the 55+ category, adding to his standing as one of Pakistan’s most reliable senior players.
The President and Secretary General of the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) congratulated both athletes, noting that their achievements continue to raise Pakistan’s profile in international tennis.
