Lahore (Lord Media): The Punjab Health and Population Department has decided to enlist social media influencers to promote family planning. The initiative will launch targeted campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. A budget of 565 million rupees has been allocated for the project for the upcoming fiscal year.
The plan aims to raise awareness about family planning through social opinion influencers, promoting digital awareness campaigns to achieve population balance.
The government will utilize influencers to convey family planning messages to youth and married couples. A social media campaign has been developed to change public attitudes.
According to budget documents, 182.7 million rupees have been spent on the project so far, with an additional 31.6 million rupees proposed for the fiscal year 2027-28. The family planning program will involve influencers, opinion leaders, and digital creators.
