Quetta (Lord Media): The Balochistan government has imposed a complete ban on tree cutting for one year. The prohibition covers the cutting, collection, and transportation of protected trees across the province. The Department of Forests and Wildlife has issued a notification in this regard.
According to the Department of Forests, this ban is enforced under the Balochistan Forest Act 2022 and will remain in effect for one year or until further orders. The government has instructed relevant authorities to ensure compliance with the notification.
