Islamabad (Lord Media): Former Pakistan cricket team fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar’s elder brother, Shahid Akhtar, has passed away. Shoaib Akhtar confirmed his brother’s death on the social media platform X, stating that his beloved brother Shahid Akhtar has returned to Allah Almighty.
According to the former fast bowler, Shahid Akhtar’s funeral prayer will be held tomorrow after Asr prayers at the H-8 cemetery in Islamabad.
Cricket and social circles are expressing sorrow and condolences over the death of Shoaib Akhtar’s brother.
