Shanghai (Lord Media): China’s Yui Ben company has developed the world’s first self-driving toilet, Xiaoben, designed for the convenience of disabled and elderly individuals. Priced at 29,000 yuan, this toilet can move with a button or voice command and features automatic cleaning capabilities. The company states that it is specifically designed for those who find it difficult to reach the toilet at night.
The toilet was unveiled at an event in Shanghai, operating through remote and voice commands. It includes LiDAR and ultrasonic sensors that work with an AI system to avoid obstacles. The system functions without voice commands, allowing use even in the absence of Wi-Fi.
Additionally, the toilet incorporates a system to prevent odor spread and connects to a docking system for self-cleaning after use.
