California (Lord Media): Google has officially launched the Android 17 operating system, initially available on Google Pixel smartphones. The new OS includes several features such as Gemini Intelligence and enhanced AutoFill.
Announced during Google’s annual developer conference in May 2026, the features include app-specific bubbles, new security enhancements, and an improved ‘Mark as Lost’ feature in Find Hub.
The new security features allow users to grant temporary location access to apps and share specific information with additional controls.
Google has also introduced the Gemini Intelligence system, an AI that adapts to user habits. The AutoFill feature has been enhanced with AI to fill in complex details effortlessly.
Android 17 simplifies the process of switching from iPhone to Android, enabling users to transfer data from their iOS devices.
