Pakistan Railways halts train operations from Quetta

Train services from Quetta to different parts of the country have been suspended due to unavoidable reasons, railway authorities confirmed on Friday.

According to railway officials, the Jaffar Express bound for Peshawar will not depart from Quetta today following the suspension of rail operations.

Officials further stated that the Quetta-bound Jaffar Express will be returned from Jacobabad instead of completing its journey to the provincial capital.

Railway authorities said the suspension was enforced due to unavoidable circumstances, though no further details were disclosed.

Meanwhile, the Bolan Mail service between Quetta and Karachi remains suspended, while train operations between Quetta and Chaman have also been halted.
