Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephonic conversation with the Prime Minister of Qatar, during which both leaders discussed in detail the prevailing situation in the region and reaffirmed their commitment to advancing diplomatic efforts for lasting peace.
According to official sources, the Qatari Prime Minister appreciated Pakistan’s consistent efforts for promoting peace and stability in the region. He acknowledged Islamabad’s continued diplomatic engagement aimed at de-escalation and regional cooperation.
During the call, both leaders agreed on the importance of sustained diplomatic initiatives to ensure long-term peace in the region and exchanged views on key regional developments.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, on the occasion, said that the people of Pakistan are looking forward to the forthcoming visit of the Emir of Qatar, underlining the importance of high-level exchanges between the two countries.
The Qatari Prime Minister, in response, reiterated that Qatar will continue to support diplomatic efforts aimed at ensuring peace, security, and stability in the Middle East.
Both sides expressed their resolve to further strengthen bilateral cooperation and maintain close coordination on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
