Pakistan’s friendly countries have assured the provision of over $5 billion in financial support, according to official sources.
According to media reports,sSources said that after arranging funds through alternative channels, Pakistan has decided to make a $2 billion payment to the United Arab Emirates. Overall, Pakistan is required to make payments totaling $4.8 billion by June.
According to the sources, the country has already arranged the necessary funds to meet these obligations. Pakistan is also expected to repay a total of $3.5 billion to the UAE across three different financial instruments.
They further noted that a eurobond has matured after completing its 10-year term, and a $1.3 billion eurobond payment is due to be made within the current week.
