Bollywood actor Zayed Khan has spoken candidly about the divorce of his sister Sussanne Khan from Hrithik Roshan, saying the marriage “was not meant to be.”
In a recent interview, Zayed Khan said both families showed maturity by allowing Hrithik and Sussanne to move on and find their own happiness after their separation.
He said the couple chose to part ways rather than continue with differences, adding that forcing a relationship that no longer works only leads to pain for both individuals.
The actor noted that their focus shifted towards their children, emphasizing the importance of being present in their lives, raising them well and watching them grow into good human beings.
Zayed further said that both families acted wisely and supported the decision, stressing that it was important to move forward and seek happiness rather than remain bound by societal expectations.
He added that their family does not make decisions under social pressure, acknowledging that while some people may find such choices unusual, others may not fully understand them.
Highlighting the bond that still exists between the former couple, Zayed said that while love is a broad term, the respect and care they share now is more meaningful.
He also praised their current partners, mentioning that he holds Saba Azad in high regard and described Arslan Goni as being like a younger brother, adding that life continues to move forward.
