Kamran Ghulam has said he is fully prepared to meet the demands of modern-day cricket and aims to make a comeback to the national team through strong performances in the Pakistan Super League.
The batter, who has represented Pakistan in six Tests and 11 One Day Internationals, said he did not receive the opportunities he deserved despite consistently delivering strong performances in domestic cricket, which, he added, are on record.
Kamran Ghulam said that after gaining good form in the National T20 tournament, he has also made a positive start in the PSL and is focused on maintaining consistency.
He noted that while a strong strike rate is crucial in modern cricket, teams also require batters capable of playing long innings.
The player said his performances have not been limited to red-ball cricket, adding that he has also delivered in white-ball formats whenever given the opportunity.
He further said that modern batters must possess a wide range of shots, as this forms the foundation for success in the future.
Kamran Ghulam added that his strike rate in recent matches has been around 200, expressing confidence that consistent performances will help him regain a place in the national side, which remains his primary focus.
