China has confirmed that three of its vessels have recently navigated through the Strait of Hormuz with the facilitation and coordination of relevant parties.
The confirmation was given by Mao Ning during a regular press briefing in response to questions regarding shipping safety and assurances for passage through the strategic waterway.
Mao said the Strait of Hormuz and its surrounding waters remain a vital international shipping route for global commodity and energy trade, underscoring its importance to maritime traffic.
She expressed appreciation for the assistance provided by relevant sides and reiterated China’s call for an immediate ceasefire aimed at restoring peace and stability in the Gulf region.
