Pakistan’s well-known actress and host Mishi Khan has strongly reacted to recent viral statements related to the “sugar daddy” trend, while also criticising the growing podcast culture.
In a video shared on her Instagram account, Mishi Khan spoke openly about a podcast featuring Zainab Yousaf, where, according to her, advice was allegedly given to young women regarding relationships with so-called “sugar daddies.” She termed such discussions unethical and harmful to society.
The actress said that in reality, such relationships are exploitative in nature, arguing that men often take advantage of women for temporary gain. She maintained that these arrangements frequently lead to emotional and financial distress for women.
Mishi Khan further criticized podcast platforms for giving space to individuals who, in her view, promote immoral behavior. She expressed concern that such content is normalizing questionable values and sending the wrong message to the younger generation.
Her remarks have received significant support on social media, with many users praising her for speaking out on sensitive social issues. Some commentators described her as a courageous voice, while others linked the debate to a perceived moral decline in society.
It is worth noting that Mishi Khan has previously been vocal on various social and national issues and is known for expressing her views candidly on controversial topics.
