Abbottabad to face Karachi Whites in final

A dramatic situation unfolded in the second semi-final of the National T20 Cup as persistent rain forced the match to be abandoned, sending Abbottabad into the final on the basis of superior points and net run rate.

Batting first, Lahore Whites posted an impressive total of 194 runs in their allotted overs, setting a challenging 195-run target.

The highlight of the innings was a blistering knock by Imran Dogar, who smashed 62 runs off just 31 balls. He was well supported by Mohammad Akhlaq (42), Farhan Yousaf (33), and Mohammad Mohsin (24).

For Abbottabad, Shahab Khan delivered an outstanding bowling performance, claiming four wickets for 28 runs.

However, rain intervened before Abbottabad could begin their chase. After a prolonged delay, match officials called off the game.

As per tournament regulations, Abbottabad progressed to the final due to a better points tally and run rate.

They will now face Karachi Whites in the final, setting the stage for what promises to be an exciting contest for cricket fans.
