Pakistani television host Rabia Anum has described actress Ayeza Khan as “Pakistan’s Shah Rukh Khan”, a remark that has sparked discussion among social media users.
Rabia Anum, a well-known television host and entrepreneur who also runs a beauty salon in Karachi, began her media career as a news anchor on a private TV channel where she worked for several years before leaving the profession.
Currently, she is hosting a Ramadan transmission on a private television channel alongside actor Danish Taimoor and has been receiving appreciation from viewers for her lively hosting style.
Rabia Anum is also known for sharing glimpses of her personal life on social media. She is married and lives in Dubai with her husband and children.
A few days ago, she appeared on a podcast hosted by Ahmed Randhawa, where she spoke about Ayeza Khan and praised her personality and professionalism.
During the conversation, Rabia Anum said that Ayeza Khan is impressive both professionally and personally and that her personality and aura feel extraordinary to her.
She added that if Ayeza Khan were an international star, she would receive far greater recognition and might even be regarded as a top global star. According to Rabia Anum, if the actress had been working in India, her status could have been entirely different.
“She is Pakistan’s Shah Rukh Khan,” Rabia Anum said while describing Ayeza Khan’s star appeal.
Speaking about her current project, she also praised Danish Taimoor, saying her experience of working with him has been very positive.
“He is extremely kind, humble and full of positive energy. We remain live for nearly eight hours and he always maintains a positive attitude. Now I understand why he is considered a superstar,” she said.
However, many social media users disagreed with Rabia Anum’s opinion.
Several users argued that actress Mahira Khan possesses the kind of aura and international recognition that can be compared to Shah Rukh Khan, calling her Pakistan’s “acting queen.”
Some fans also suggested that actresses Saba Qamar and Hania Aamir could equally be considered strong contenders for such a title, highlighting the diverse talent present in Pakistan’s entertainment industry.
