Indian actor and model Sourabh Bedi has publicly addressed recent rumors linking him to Malaika Arora, firmly denying any romantic involvement and clarifying that they share only a friendship.
Bedi, who gained fame from the reality show Splitsvilla 16, became the subject of speculation after being spotted with Arora at various events and parties, with photos circulating widely in the media. Speaking to reporters, he explained that he first met Arora during his modeling days through colleagues Dilnaz Daruwala and Vahbiz Mehta, who had given him opportunities for ramp walks. Over time, mutual appearances at industry events brought him and Arora closer as friends.
“I want to be very clear: there is no romantic relationship between Malaika and me. We trust each other and share a good friendship,” Bedi said. He added that the public and media have misinterpreted their frequent appearances together, especially now that he has gained wider recognition. “People should think before commenting about any woman.
Photos or videos from parties shouldn’t be given a different meaning,” he stressed.
Malaika Arora’s personal life has frequently been in the spotlight. She was married to actor Arbaaz Khan from 1998 to 2017, with whom she has a son, Arhaan Khan. Later, her name was linked to actor Arjun Kapoor, with rumors of a relationship circulating from 2018 to 2024.
