The Sindh government has decided to introduce an e-challan system for the Sindh Food Authority (SFA), following the digitalization model used in traffic enforcement.
During a meeting between Provincial Food Minister Makhdum Mehmood-ul-Zaman and PPP Women’s Central President Faryal Talpur, officials were briefed on the digitalization plan for the SFA.
The new system will include online registration, a complaint management system, and digital challaning, aimed at providing the public with more efficient and transparent services.
Minister Zaman also updated Faryal Talpur on recent SFA operations against substandard food products and provided a detailed briefing on the department’s vet stock policy.
“The initiative will modernize SFA operations and make services more citizen-friendly,” Zaman said, emphasizing the government’s commitment to public safety and transparency.
