Karachi to host World Culture Festival 2025

The Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, has announced the launch of the World Culture Festival 2025, with a formal ceremony and press conference held to share event details and preparations.

Arts Council President Mohammad Ahmed Shah and Karachi Commissioner Syed Hassan Naqvi briefed the media, stating that the festival will bring together artists from 141 countries across six continents, making it one of the most diverse cultural gatherings to be hosted in Pakistan. More than 1,000 artists are expected to perform during the festival.

Highlighting the significance of the event, Ahmed Shah said the Arts Council has now evolved into a global cultural institution that regularly attracts international talent. “The Arts Council has become an international platform where artists from across the world come to showcase their work,” he remarked.

Commissioner Syed Hassan Naqvi expressed confidence that the festival will help project a positive image of Karachi to the world. “We want to show the world the positive face of Karachi. Our international guests will return with a good impression of Pakistan,” he said.

The World Culture Festival in Karachi will feature a diverse programme, including theatre, musical performances, dance acts, art exhibitions and cultural showcases, offering Pakistanis an opportunity to experience global cultures under one roof.
