Iran says seven soldiers killed in U.S. missile strike

TEHRAN (Lord Media): Iran has reported that a U.S. missile strike on a military base in southeastern Iran has resulted in the deaths of seven Iranian soldiers and left several others injured. The Iranian military has condemned the attack as cowardly and hinted at a retaliatory response.

According to the Iranian news agency Tasnim, the attack targeted the Bampur Garrison near Iranshahr in the Sistan and Baluchestan region, where U.S. missiles struck military installations.

The Iranian military statement revealed that 13 U.S. missiles were fired at military barracks, leading to the deaths of seven personnel from the 388th Brigade and injuring many others.

Iranian officials have stated that the attack aimed to cause maximum casualties and have vowed a decisive response.

Iranian government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani has reported that over 30 civilians also lost their lives in the U.S. attacks on southern Iran. She expressed condolences to the affected families.

There has been no official response from U.S. authorities regarding the Iranian claims. Analysts suggest that the increasing military tensions between the U.S. and Iran could lead to further conflicts in the region.
