FIA offloads Saudi-bound Umrah passenger

KARACHI (Lord Media): The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration Karachi has offloaded a female passenger traveling to Saudi Arabia on an Umrah visa due to her past involvement in illicit activities in the kingdom. The woman, identified as Anum, revealed that she had requested her friend Ilyas, residing in Saudi Arabia, to arrange the visa.

During immigration clearance, the passenger was stopped for further scrutiny and interview based on suspicious travel information. She confessed to having previously visited Saudi Arabia twice, staying for approximately three months each time, and engaging in unethical activities.

According to the spokesperson, the examination of the woman’s mobile phone uncovered several voice messages and images, which she admitted were related to her past activities and the purpose of her current travel.

The FIA has offloaded the passenger and transferred her to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Karachi for further investigation and legal action. Preliminary investigations suggest the case involves human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation.
