Iran warns US over Hormuz Strait control

TEHRAN (Lord Media): Iran’s central military headquarters, Khatam al-Anbiya, has strongly reacted to U.S. President Donald Trump’s statement about taking control of the Strait of Hormuz, asserting that Tehran will not allow U.S. interference in the management of this crucial waterway. Iranian military leadership has blamed the rising tensions in the region on the U.S. and its allied countries.

According to Iranian news agency Tasnim, the spokesperson for Khatam al-Anbiya stated that U.S. interference in the management of the Strait of Hormuz has jeopardized regional security, international trade, and the passage of ships. The spokesperson further emphasized that Iran will not tolerate any U.S. interference and will take all necessary measures to protect trade routes.

Iran has also warned regional countries cooperating with the U.S. that any such cooperation will be considered an act of war against Iran’s sovereignty. Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that Iran has always been and will continue to be the guardian of the Strait of Hormuz.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Baghaei added that Iran will pursue legal avenues to highlight U.S. and Israeli actions on a global scale and seek justice. He warned that if Washington fails to fulfill its promises regarding the end of the war, Iran will not be obliged to continue implementing the agreement.
