USA (Lord Media): The FIFA World Cup 2026, hosted jointly by the United States, Mexico, and Canada, has set a new record for fan attendance even before the tournament concludes. The number of spectators has already surpassed the combined record of the previous two World Cups.
According to FIFA, 6,527,410 fans attended the first 100 matches, exceeding the total of 6,436,020 spectators at the Russia 2018 and Qatar 2022 World Cups combined.
In Russia, 3,031,768 people attended the World Cup matches, while in Qatar, the figure was 3,404,252.
Notably, the tournament still has two semi-finals, a third-place match, and the final remaining, with millions more spectators expected to attend.
