QUETTA (Lord Media): The Pakistan Army, FC, and police continue Operation Shaban in Balochistan, with recent operations resulting in the elimination of 5 more foreign militants. According to security sources, the total number of militants killed in Operation Shaban has reached 79, with 117 militants eliminated since July 5. Security sources affirm that Operation Shaban will persist in Balochistan until the last militant is neutralized.
In Ziarat, the families of police officers killed in terrorist incidents continue their sit-in protests in Quetta and Ziarat. Recently, in Mashkel, 5 laborers were shot dead by terrorists. Police report that all the deceased were working at various shops in the area and were targeted by the terrorists.
Chief Minister of Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti condemned the terrorist act, stating that by targeting innocent laborers, the terrorists have exposed their vile intentions. He has taken notice of the incident and ordered a transparent investigation.
Spokesperson for the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Shahid Rind, stated that terrorists involved in the murder of innocent civilians will not escape justice. He instructed law enforcement agencies to arrest the culprits promptly and assured that all possible support will be provided to the affected families.
