ISLAMABAD (Lord Media): Pakistan has expressed deep concern over the escalating tensions in the region, urging all parties to exercise restraint. The Foreign Office reiterated support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of regional countries.
In a statement, the Foreign Office called on all parties to show restraint and take immediate steps to de-escalate tensions. Pakistan reminded the parties of their commitments under the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding.
According to the Foreign Office, Pakistan remains committed to supporting lasting peace and stability in the region through dialogue and diplomacy.
Notably, the U.S. military has launched further attacks on Iran. According to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), these attacks aim to weaken Iran’s capability to attack civilian vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
In response, Abbas Araghchi of Iran stated that if the U.S. continues military actions, Iran will not hesitate to defend its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national security.
