In a thrilling final, Sinner defeated Germany’s Alexander Zverev with scores of 6-7, 7-6, 6-3, and 6-4. With this victory, Sinner successfully defended his Wimbledon title.
The match, lasting nearly four hours, saw Zverev take the first set in a tiebreaker. However, Sinner made a remarkable comeback to win the next three sets. He had to work hard to level the match by winning the second set in a tiebreaker. In the third set, the German player managed to win three games, and only four in the fourth.
This marks Jannik Sinner’s second consecutive Wimbledon title, having first won the championship last year and now successfully defending his crown.
