LODHRAN (Lord Media): A freight train accident near Lodhran resulted in the train splitting into two parts, blocking the down track. According to railway sources, the incident has caused delays for three Karachi-bound trains, which have been halted at various stations.
The Millat Express has been stationary at Jahanian for three hours, while the Karakoram Express has been at Qutabpur Station for four hours. Meanwhile, the Allama Iqbal Express has been at Dunyapur Station for five hours.
Authorities have reported that efforts are underway to restore the down track.
