KARACHI (Lord Media): The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration Karachi offloaded a female passenger bound for Sri Lanka due to suspicious travel documents. According to an FIA spokesperson, Fatima Sajid, a resident of Lahore, was stopped for this reason.
Fatima revealed that she had worked in an online scamming network run by Chinese nationals in Cambodia. She disclosed that she was lured to Cambodia with a job offer and was charged two lakh rupees.
The spokesperson further stated that Fatima admitted to defrauding Egyptian citizens online via a fake AliExpress platform and Telegram. Chinese operators paid salaries and commissions upon achieving targets.
Fatima also handled HR responsibilities, recruiting Pakistani citizens. Her friend Victor was calling her to Sri Lanka, offering a job in a similar company.
According to the FIA, analysis of her mobile phone revealed crucial evidence of online fraud, fake platforms, and Telegram chats. The female passenger has been transferred to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Karachi for further investigation.
