Four terrorists killed in Karak police clash

KARAK (Lord Media): Four terrorists were killed in a police encounter in Karak, who were involved in attacks on police and the martyrdom of several officers.

A joint intelligence-based operation was conducted by Karak and Kohat police in the Dhandi Eidalkhel area, within the jurisdiction of Sabirabad police station. According to DPO Imran Khan, the terrorists opened fire on the police during the operation, which was effectively retaliated, resulting in the death of four terrorists.

Police stated that the identification process of the deceased terrorists is ongoing, and weapons and ammunition were recovered from them.

According to the police, the killed terrorist group was wanted in multiple terrorist attacks and was involved in the martyrdom of several police officers, including SHO Banda Umar Nawaz, Inspector Tahir Nawaz, DSP Asad Mahmood, and Sub-Inspector Anar Gul.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the performance of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police for the successful operation in Karak, stating that the police thwarted the nefarious designs of terrorists operating under Indian patronage. He commended the police for their professional skills in killing four terrorists and lauded the entire force for the successful intelligence-based operation. Mohsin Naqvi emphasized that law enforcement agencies are determined to eradicate the scourge of terrorism and will continue operations against anti-state elements with the same zeal.
