QUETTA (Lord Media): Security forces in Balochistan have killed 17 more militants under Operation Shaban, bringing the total number of militants killed since July 5 to 79.
According to security sources, joint operations by the Pakistan Army, FC, and Balochistan Police continue following an attack on the Mangi Dam police station, involving both ground and aerial assaults. A terrorist attack on a police station in the Khuzdar area of Zaidi was thwarted.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for the success of Operation Shaban, stating that the elimination of 79 militants is a testament to the forces’ professional capabilities.
Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti remarked that 43 militants have been killed in the operation following the Mangi Dam attack, and the state’s authority will be maintained at all costs.
