ISLAMABAD (Lord Media): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi met with Federal Energy Minister Sardar Owais Ahmed Khan Leghari to discuss electricity load-shedding, tripping, and public issues in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The meeting addressed prolonged load-shedding and frequent tripping in Dera Ismail Khan, highlighting the difficulties faced by the public. Governor Kundi expressed concern over the lack of basic facilities despite the approval of the WAPDA Superintending Engineer’s office.
The Federal Energy Minister instructed officials to ensure the prompt provision of basic facilities and necessary equipment at the Dera Ismail Khan SE office to improve services for consumers.
Discussions also covered matters related to Dera Ismail Khan Grid Station Two and Band Korai Grid Station, with various proposals considered to enhance the electricity transmission system’s efficiency.
The meeting was attended by PPP Parliamentary Leader in KPK Assembly Ahmed Kundi, WAPDA Secretary Dr. Fakhar Alam, Principal Secretary to the Governor Fazal Khaliq, and PSO to the Governor Tanveer Hussain Malik.
