Pakistan’s BPO exports cross $300 million in 11 months

KARACHI (Lord Media): The rapid growth of Pakistan’s IT and digital services sector has opened new opportunities in the global market. The country’s business process outsourcing (BPO) sector has become one of the fastest-growing IT export industries, with BPO and call center export revenues exceeding 300 million U.S. dollars in the first 11 months of fiscal year 2025-26.

According to the State Bank, call center exports increased from 269 million U.S. dollars to 322 million U.S. dollars from July to May. A 19% increase in call center exports over the year reflects rising global demand.

AI technology has enhanced customer support operations, making Pakistani service providers competitive globally. AI-driven advanced solutions are transforming the outsourcing industry through automation, rapid customer service, and data analytics.

Approximately 90% of Pakistan’s call centers and BPO companies earn foreign exchange by serving overseas clients. Improved digital infrastructure, policy support, and skilled workforce development enable the BPO sector to create employment opportunities for the youth.

Through better technology, skilled workforce, and digital infrastructure, Pakistan is solidifying its position in the global IT economy.
