LAHORE (Lord Media): The body of a 10-year-old girl was discovered in the washroom of a tuition center in Lahore’s Ichhra area. The girl had gone to the home-based center with her two sisters for tuition.
In Ittihad Colony, the three sisters attended the tuition, where 10-year-old Naeema went to the washroom and did not return. Her elder sister found her in a semi-conscious state. She was taken to the hospital where doctors confirmed her death.
According to police, the tuition center is run by two sisters in a house in Ittihad Colony, with 15 to 20 girls attending. Neighbors stated that such an incident had not occurred before.
The deceased girl’s father, Adnan, a rickshaw driver, expressed his ignorance about how his daughter died.
Police officials stated that investigations are ongoing to determine whether it was a murder or suicide. Some neighbors are being questioned, and the facts will be revealed after the post-mortem report.
